OsaOppiIII is a national Professional Development Program project aimed at vocational teachers nationally in Finland. During the project teachers will be trained in using modern, active pedagogical tools and approaches in their training as well as understand holistically the practical meaning of 21st century learning and skills development in students, with focus also on entrepreneurial skills. The training is conducted online and is organized through a gaming format where points are allocated according to knowledge, skills and competencies, not tests or participation. This MOOC type of gamification approach to Teacher PD is first of its kind in Finland.
